FLOAT.COM 6MO ANALYTICS REPORT

Summary:

Views and time spent on Float.com are up. More than 63 thousand page views in the past month... up about 500 from just a week ago.

People are coming to our home page, but the majority... almost 70 percent.... are not delving deeper.

Average time spent has increased since last week... from 4.75 to 5.31 minutes.

Our bounce rate is too high... at almost 87 %. Our exit rate is too high... almost 70 percent.

Interpretations:

A few days into march our graph on page 2 shows a big spike in views.. almost 5-thousand hits in a short period of time... that's when we officially started our commercial campaign staring Cloris Leechman. It worked.

However, we believe word of mouth is also increasing our numbers. Stats on page 3 show while about half of our page views are coming from search engines like Google and Yahoo... but our traffic from social networking sites are giving us some of the most time spent by the audience... sites like Facebook and Delicious.

So, the site is well advertised through word of mouth and commercial advertising.

We're unsuccessful with keyword searches. The people who spent the most time on the site used the the least utilized keywords.... used keywords like American University and AU sted of what we're focusing on.

Recommendations:

Need to repeat that audience spike in early March... more advertising!

Need Google ads and more advertising on social networking sites to keep those numbers growing. Also, considering building our own pages on those sites to attract even more audiences.

We're putting great content on the home page, but to keep people going deeper we need to promote material on other pages.... such as specific VIP profiles.

Need to improve metadata and search engine optimization to bring more hits related to death and social networking in the afterlife.
