Thanks, Michael for writing up the "elevator speech." I like it.
Here are my thoughts on the sections (as required by threespot guy)
The Concept
• Social Networking/Memorial site
• Utilizes social media and citizen journalism
• Team of editorial staff reporting on health news/current events (as related to the deaths of members)
Mission
• Giving people the last word on their lives
• Bucket-list + Verbal-list = MyLife (OR OTHER NAME)
Offering
• Social network:
-- VIP (person who’s dying)
-- Friends of VIP (network)
-- Calendar that encourages meetups with network members
• Current news + profiles
-- News about studies, events/studies that are related to person’s death/life
Audience
• Anyone who wants to say last words about his life
• Connect important people with his life with each other before he dies
Competitive Landscape
• (Sites already mentioned)
Brand
• At the end of the day, we will deliver your final words
• Secure way to provide your voice to your loved ones
• Fun, positive, promotes socializing, de-stigmatizes death
Outreach -- We didn't go over this in class, I think.
